FLY DESIGNER
Kiran Conner
Kiran Connor has loved catching fish since the first time he lifted one from the water with an old button pole. Since then, he has learned to use a spinning rod, then a bait caster, then a fly rod. The first thing he did with his brand-new 6 weight, was take into the lake with a sub-par bass bug and catch a bass with a friend. Since the moment that bass ate the fly, he has been obsessed with catching big fish on his flies.
In the little lake he lives on, he fishes for bass, bluegill and pike, always, always, always, always, with his own flies. He loves to see a big fish destroy a fly he made.
His interest in fly tying changed, and now he tries for big fish, specifically pike, muskie, or even though he lives nowhere near the ocean, tuna. He loves to cast the seemingly full “chickens” he ties and loves it even more when his hard work is rewarded with a big fish.
